Summary

Gu Xiu, having achieved great perfection in his Golden Core, prepares to form his Nascent Soul and decides to leave Tianqi to explore the world. He contemplates heading to Beiming for a significant opportunity. While fishing, he unexpectedly catches a red silk thread that seems intangible and devoid of spiritual energy, leading him to suspect it might be the thread of causality. Despite his caution, he learns that the Aoi bamboo pole he possesses can manipulate this thread, transforming it into a glowing orb that grants him the Eye of Tianji, allowing him to observe cause and effect. Realizing this ability is not innate but post-natal, he acknowledges its limitations. Afterward, he returns to the yellow sand battlefield, greeted by familiar faces, including Lv Dong Shan and the legendary Four Saints. They inform him of the chaos following the Old God Emperor's death and the ongoing battle at Qing Xuan, which raises Gu Xiu's concern about the Hong Yi Old Ancestor's intentions.
