Summary

Gu Miao Zhi is surprised by the exquisite double-sided embroidery gifted by her sister, Jiu Yue, who claims to have made it herself. As she prepares to leave the Su family, her uncle, Gu Min Hang, expresses concern for her safety but is impressed by her selflessness in not wanting to burden others. Gu Miao Zhi plans to thank Jiu Yue with a repaired glass hairpin and a precious bead from her mother, which her uncle disapproves of, but she insists it’s worth it for saving her life.
