Summary

Miao Yi and his companions narrowly escape from pursuers, crossing a river into Nanxuan Prefecture. They are relieved to find themselves safe, but their joy is short-lived as Pang Rang, a powerful enforcer, appears above the river. Although he cannot cross the boundary to kill them, he unleashes a barrage of ice needles. Miao Yi and his group defend themselves, sustaining minor injuries but managing to flee. After reporting back to Wu Meng Lan, Pang Rang believes the poison from the ice needles will incapacitate them. As Miao Yi and his friends head towards Zhen Hai Shan, they realize they are poisoned, but Miao Yi uses his powers to combat it, while the dragon steeds show delayed reactions to the toxin.
