Summary

In the small courtyard of Forty-Nine City, Qin Huai Ru emerges from a storeroom, dragging her husband Sha Zhu out despite his confusion. She orders him to find their leader and explain their capture of spies, while she interrogates one named Ida. Under threat, Ida reluctantly agrees to identify a dangerous enemy. After the leader arrives, they confirm the spies' identities and plan further action against those who threaten their military. Meanwhile, Qin Huai Ru, still upset with Sha Zhu, visits the children, leading to a family reunion dinner. Tensions rise in another household as Jia Zhang Shi manipulates her daughter-in-law, Li Er Ni, over family secrets and expectations.
