Summary

Lin Chen, having dominated all challengers, enjoys a period of peace and reduced attention from the public, allowing him to focus on training his Pokémon. With his Pokémon's strength rapidly increasing, he decides to take a leave of absence from school to train further. He visits Ranger Dai at Sen Lin, where they discuss Lin Chen's progress and the ranger's own training with a mountain rat. Lin Chen buys supplies for his exploration of the Rainbow Forest, but he senses he is being followed by a group of bounty hunters targeting his valuable Pokémon, Ke Ke Duo La. The chapter concludes with Lin Chen aware of the imminent threat as he ventures deeper into the forest.
