Summary

After a night of storytelling, Sun Pang Zi and Huang Ran, along with another friend, are prompted by the hotel manager to settle their bill as breakfast time arrives. Huang Ran, who had been napping, offers to pay the bill generously. They then decide to visit Huang Ran's friend's tea house, which turns out to be an elegant traditional courtyard known for its Wulong tea. As they settle in, Sun Pang Zi expresses surprise at the tea house's scale, and they discuss its purpose as a fund for retired commissioners. The conversation shifts to Liu Cheng, a man with a mysterious past involving imprisonment, which piques their interest and sets the stage for deeper revelations.
