Summary

Little Dou Zi is upset and worried about his mother, who has not returned home. Xiao Bei tries to reassure him but is anxious himself, having already checked with others and found no trace of her. During lunch, Dou Zi shows little appetite, feeling the absence of his mother. Xiao Bei wanders the village and encounters Xiao Yong Liang, who questions him about his sister-in-law, Su Qi. Xiao Bei's frustration grows as Yong Liang makes insensitive comments about Su Qi possibly running away. A confrontation ensues, leading to Xiao Bei punching Yong Liang for his remarks.
