Summary

Shi Mu approaches a black pillar of light, which he learns is a barrier to a spatial passage. After attempting to break through, he is struck by black lightning but remains unharmed. Qiu Yuan informs him that the lightning will weaken during the day-night transition, making it easier to enter. Shi Mu decides to wait for his companion Miao Kong before proceeding. Meanwhile, a mysterious black moth shadow observes them but is soon captured by Shi Mu's magic. Miao Kong arrives, and they discuss the Nine-Headed Taotie's offspring and the potential threat posed by the Huan Tian Moth, a reconnaissance beast. Realizing the urgency of their situation, Miao Kong suggests they move to the upper space immediately, prompting Shi Mu to ask Qiu Yuan whether his clan will join them or wait for reinforcements.
