Summary

The chapter begins with a USS super soldier emerging from an airdrop pod at an underground airport, which has been heavily damaged by explosions. As the super soldiers advance cautiously, they encounter a large partitioned door and blow it open to infiltrate the Radiant Society's base. Alarms sound as the invaders are detected, prompting the base commander, Di Ke Lan, to prepare a trap for them. Sergey, sensing a trap, stops his team and destroys surveillance cameras to conceal their movements. A fierce battle ensues between the USS super soldiers and the Radiant Society's Doom Warriors. Sergey uses a serum to revert some of the Doom Warriors to ordinary humans, diminishing their threat. Despite some casualties among the USS soldiers from self-destructing Doom Warriors, they continue their advance. Di Ke Lan, realizing the urgency of the situation, orders the activation of defensive weapons and initiates a self-destruct sequence for the base.
