Summary

6 Dust and Ah Tu narrowly escape the dangers of the Chaos Abyss and decide to follow the river upstream, hoping it leads them back home. They avoid the perilous Snow Mountain and the vast desert, feeling uncertain about their safety. After several days of travel without incident, they discover a decayed human-like skeleton with a broken tusk, indicating the presence of barbarians. Continuing their journey, they notice changes in the landscape, including the emergence of grass and a small oasis with strange animals. However, they soon hear a familiar sound that leads them to a battlefield filled with barbarian warriors engaged in brutal combat. Realizing they are in the southern wasteland, a place known for its barbarian inhabitants and dangers, 6 Dust contemplates their precarious situation and the distorted elemental energy affecting his abilities. The chapter ends with a priest-like figure preparing to use a magical artifact, hinting at further conflict.
