Summary

The story revolves around Li Dao Yuan, a night watchman guarding a sealed dry well containing a powerful demon. His master previously maintained the seal by sacrificing prisoners and local villagers every decade. After his master's death, Li Dao Yuan inherited the responsibility but became obsessed with finding hidden gold. Curiosity led him to puncture the seal, releasing sinister energy. When the school's principal threatened his job, Li Dao Yuan accidentally killed him. Now, he struggles to reseal the demon, which requires a living sacrifice, while Sun Pang Zi offers to help him resolve the situation permanently.
