Summary

Before embarking on a journey to Tongyezhou, Chen Ping An purchases a special incense and a set of "Sword Immortal Portraits" as gifts for future guests and a friend, Ruan Qiong. While navigating the Crossing, he encounters Lu Tai, a charming and enigmatic figure who claims to be in need of companionship and money. Despite Chen Ping An's attempts to maintain distance, Lu Tai insists on following him, displaying a mix of flirtation and desperation. Chen Ping An feels uncomfortable with Lu Tai's advances and tries to set boundaries, but Lu Tai's persistence continues to create an awkward dynamic between them.
