Summary

Li Su and Dong Yang, former lovers, reunited by the Jing River. Dong Yang, now a Daoist nun, was thinner and paler. Li Su was filled with self-reproach and tenderness. Despite the societal norms against them, they shared a tender moment. Dong Yang was struggling with her new identity as a nun and her feelings for Li Su. Li Su reassured her that their fate wasn't predetermined and that they should cherish their lives and wait for the right moment. However, reality set in as Dong Yang reminded Li Su of his marriage and encouraged him to return to his wife. They reluctantly parted ways, but Li Su couldn't shake off his feelings and returned to the riverbank, only to find Dong Yang crying uncontrollably.
