Summary

Kong Mi Er and her companion are devastated by Lin Tao's words, realizing they may never leave and will not see their families again. Lin Tao, aware of their despair, tries to scare them into following him for safety, explaining the dangers of the Ghost Market, where women are highly coveted and men without strength face dire consequences. Despite Lin Tao's warnings, they hesitate to leave their friend Lu Hang behind. As tensions rise, Lin Tao attempts to take Kong Mi Er by force, but is interrupted by Hei Yan, who seeks revenge on Lin Tao for a past grievance. Lu Hang reunites with Jiang Feng, who introduces the group to Hei Li, the chief steward of the Ghost Market. They discuss the constant conflicts in the area and the allure of the Insight Cliff, which offers enlightenment.
