Summary

In Chapter 28, Chief Xiao, protected by a mysterious yellow light from a strange object, survives a barrage of arrows while the other Xiaos attack the humans. A brutal melee ensues, showcasing the strength of both sides. Wu Song, alongside Xia Tian and Shen Lian, fights fiercely against the Xiaos. Wu Song cleverly lures the ninth-level leader away and, after drinking a potent wine, uses his fists to overpower the leader, shattering its protective barrier. Meanwhile, the humans, despite suffering severe injuries, retaliate fiercely against the Xiaos. Shen Lian, now one-armed, seeks revenge on the humans but is ultimately defeated.
