Summary

Zhou Zhen prepares to fire at the infected ones but is interrupted by an armed personnel urging him to run. A massive explosion occurs as a sphere of light strikes a nearby mecha, sending them flying amidst chaos. Zhou Zhen witnesses the destruction of aircraft and military forces by a towering infected being, which is protected by a mysterious barrier. Despite the overwhelming firepower from bombers and ground forces, the infected retaliate with devastating energy attacks, destroying multiple bombers and military vehicles. As the battlefield becomes increasingly chaotic, Zhou Zhen realizes the military's power is ineffective against the infected. He attempts to escape but is caught by a mechanical arm, which lifts him towards a gathering of flying cars for evacuation.
