Summary

Chen Hai, navigating the perilous Blood Cloud Wasteland, masquerades as a Rakshasa ghost while grappling with the mysterious influence of a hidden power within his puppet clone. As towering Rakshasa demons gather near the sunken Temple of the Gods, Chen Hai remains cautious, aware of the violent chaos surrounding him. Despite the overwhelming presence of resurrected wraiths, he manages to blend in, but the tension escalates as they dig for the temple. After enduring nearly two months of this harrowing existence, he finally finds refuge in a cave, severing his connection to the serpent bracelet. Upon returning to his academy, he is left physically weakened but relieved to escape the horrors of the wasteland, realizing the toll it has taken on him.
