Summary

Yang Ye encounters two women in the heartland of Da Shan, who are not from the Southern Region as he initially suspected. The women, Weiwei and the slightly plump Yan Yan, are trying to escape a pack of Blazing Flame Lions. Weiwei reveals her energy is nearly depleted, and they need a plan to survive. Yan Yan suggests sacrificing Yang Ye to distract the beasts, which he finds unacceptable. Just as Yang Ye considers summoning his Thunder Eagle for help, they spot a group of seven practitioners led by Yan Han, who recognizes Weiwei. The situation shifts as they realize they may have allies, but Yang Ye's status as a pre-natal practitioner draws disdain from the newcomers.
