Summary

Kasumigaoka Utaha expresses surprise at the upcoming release date of Oikawa Toru's new book on March 16th and invites him to a writer exchange conference happening soon. Oikawa learns it's organized by several publishers due to intense competition in the industry, partly spurred by his own success. As they discuss this, Oikawa reflects humorously on the exaggerated titles within the Neon light novel scene. However, Kasumigaoka's tone shifts to melancholy, hinting at future changes. Later, Oikawa awakens to missed calls from his boss, revealing he is unwell with a cold but prefers to take two days off to attend the conference with Utaha. After confirming he doesn’t need any assistance, he takes medicine and returns to bed.
