Chapter 278: "Iron Boy's Blood Battle at the South Gate: Sword Shadow of the Four Immortals". [280]
Summary
Tie Wa aggressively pursued the retreating Guandou army at the North Gate, but was soon surrounded by the Four Zhai Master of the Da Li Gui Wang. The Guandou army had attacked from the East Gate, forcing the Huai Mountain Clan to retreat to the South Gate of Jun Tai City, where they struggled to defend against the overwhelming enemy forces. The defenders, aware of their limited manpower, chose a tactical retreat to protect a westward migration convoy, leading to further breaches in their defenses. The Four Zhai Master seized the opportunity to attack, compelling the Huai Mountain defenders to consolidate at the South Gate. Meanwhile, the Elder of the Guandou army, witnessing his brother, the Daishan Swordsman, injured, ordered a retreat to their camp for treatment. After learning of the Da Li Gui Wang's success at the South Gate, the Elder mobilized his troops to support the West Gate. The Four Immortal Disciples, now able to assist, joined the Guandou army in a counterattack. They encountered the Four Zhai Master, who led them to bypass the North Gate and assault the West Gate. Upon arrival, they found Tie Wa surrounded by the Guandou army. Despite his strength, Tie Wa was eventually overwhelmed by the coordinated attack of the Four Immortal Disciples, who aimed to avenge their previous encounter with him. In a fierce battle, Tie Wa managed to kill one of the disciples but was ultimately fatally wounded by the others. His personal guards fell in desperation, and the remaining court soldiers perished under the Guandou army's relentless assault, with only a few wounded soldiers managing to escape.Full content
