Chapter 277: Where is Confucius? (Additional Chapter for 'Blood Loss 123'). [278]

Summary

The scene unfolds with a battle between Confucian disciples, including Meng Ke's and Xun Kuang's disciples. The fight was ignited when Xun Zi saw his disciples being ganged up on by Meng Zi's disciples. Meanwhile, the masters of the Hundred Schools, including Confucius, Laozi, Mo Zi, and Ghost Valley Master, were engaged in a game of Four-Man Landlord at the Old People's Entertainment Center. However, their game was disrupted when a Legalist disciple informed Li Kui about an urgent matter. Li Kui discovered that the Confucian disciples were fighting the Legalist disciples and realized they needed more people involved to take down the Confucians. He instructed his law students to find a monk from the Shaolin Temple and provoke him into joining the battle. The law students targeted Yuan Zhen, a Shaolin monk who was drinking heavily, and tricked him into joining the battle. Yuan Zhen, however, was aware of the plan and began to circulate his internal energy to counter the effects of the alcohol, planning his next move to protect himself and the Shaolin Temple.
