Summary
Ye Tian meets Wang Gu Bei, the grandson of a former top scholar, who visits him frequently to discuss poetry and enjoy village life. Ning Yan Ran expresses concern over Ye Tian's decision to live in the mountains, believing he has the talent to govern. Ye Tian, however, prefers a peaceful life away from politics. Ning Yan Ran warns him that Jiang Ling Er might recommend him to the emperor, which makes Ye Tian anxious about losing his tranquil lifestyle. They then engage in a poetry competition, with Ning Yan Ran suggesting a topic about the sorrow of spring, prompting Ye Tian to write a poem inspired by the recent rain on the flowers.Full content
