Summary

Meng Yao, practicing her cultivation alone in the snow, reflects on her progress and the absence of Yi Fan. After half a year, she ventures to Xuzhou County for food and unexpectedly meets Wang Hu, who inquires about Yi Fan. He expresses interest in having his merchant team learn from them, but Meng Yao hesitates, knowing few possess the necessary spiritual roots for cultivation. They decide to have a meal together at Drunken Wind Pavilion, where Meng Yao finds the menu amusing. Suddenly, a group of black-clad figures enters, including Lu Miao Ling, a familiar face to Meng Yao.
