Summary

In this chapter, Orson faces an overwhelming horde of twisted creatures infected by Oripathy, including Yuan Shi Chong, Qian Shou, and hyenas. As they advance, Orson prepares to confront them, initiating a countdown. He employs skills like The Suspension to slice through the enemies, but encounters tough resistance from a Qian Shou. Utilizing a crossbow, Orson takes down the heavily armored creature, before being overwhelmed by faster hyenas. In the heat of battle, he taps into his FEVER mode, amplifying his combat capabilities. However, he also has to defend against fast Originium energy attacks from the creatures. As Orson fights on, he charges his knight's sword, "Red Queen," to unleash a powerful attack that cleaves through the enemy. Despite his impressive feats, the horde remains relentless, and he must engage a hidden, high-energy mode of his sword, which allows for devastating strikes but comes at the cost of significant fatigue. Just as his weapon shows signs of breaking, he uses his "Curtain Call" ability to disrupt the monsters’ movement, but it takes a toll on his health. His situation becomes dire when a Qian Shou charges him, and just as Orson prepares to defend himself, he is unexpectedly rescued by Talula and Frost Nova, who join the fray to assist him. They are soon followed by Exusiai and Texas, who also come to help in their own way. Together, they strategize to stop the advancing horde, reinforcing their shared goal. Orson, now flanked by allies, becomes determined to halt the onslaught of the infected creatures.
