Summary

Mo Wuji recognizes Feng Zhe from the Dayan Sect and realizes both of them are unwilling to let the heart of Qiu He fall into the wrong hands. As he observes, he sees Fang Zhen Tian from the Tianmo Sect arrive, also seeking the heart. Mo Wuji feels uneasy around Feng Zhe, who appears harmless but is actually sinister. As time passes, Mo Wuji's divine sense begins to fade, but he persists, hoping for help. An explosion jolts him back to clarity, revealing that the heart of Qiu He has been triggered, and he must stabilize his body to survive the extreme temperatures. Mo Wuji realizes he is at the edge of the heart's flames, which are being refined by Fang Zhen Tian and Feng Zhe. They are using different methods to draw and refine the heart's flames, and Mo Wuji understands he cannot leave without being detected. As the temperature rises dangerously, he decides he must also refine the heart to avoid being burned alive.
