Summary

Nan Gong Xiao, a handsome and talented disciple of the No Sword Sect, stands outside Yan Ruyu's palanquin, attracting admiration from the Jade Maiden Sect disciples. When Yan Ruyu emerges, her beauty captivates everyone, including Chu Feng, who compares her to other women he finds beautiful. Bai Xi, Yan Ruyu's close friend, informs Nan Gong Xiao that Yan is unwell and cannot meet him. However, when Nan Gong learns that Yan is betrothed to Chu Feng, he becomes furious and vows to annul the engagement.
