Summary

Shu Hua finds herself in a terrifying place with a red sky and a foul smell. After witnessing the death of kind people, she struggles with hunger and fear as aggressive survivors threaten her. Hiding in an iron door, she discovers a dead body and a mask worn by “Judges.” Desperate, she puts on the mask to impersonate a Judge, but the men outside are not intimidated. Just as they plan to harm her, a mysterious naked man appears, swiftly killing her captors and saving her. He reassures her that she is a “Human Rat,” not a “Rat Person,” hinting at the dangers of misidentification in this grim world.
