Summary

Yue Chen realizes escape from the monsters in the Yin-Yang Desert is impossible, as all his means of refuge have failed. He contemplates the strange speed of the lifeless beings, suspecting it’s due to the realm's rules. As he meditates, he discovers the rapid cycle of day and night in this world, which lasts only seven to eight minutes. This understanding allows him to manipulate time, making the monsters appear slow to him and his companions, Louise and Xue Lun. However, Peng Xiao Min and Morin remain out of sync. Yue Chen decides to draw Cai Luan into his dream state to synchronize their speeds, preparing to confront the monsters together.
