Summary

Zhang Ye left his workplace, despite his colleagues' efforts to persuade him to stay and apologize to the Radio and Television Bureau. His colleagues suggested that he make a symbolic gesture and lower his head to smooth things over. However, Zhang Ye was unmoved and instead spoke to a group of reporters who had gathered outside. When asked about his actions, he compared himself to a sunflower, standing tall and proud, and recited a poem he had created on the spot.
