Summary

A woman, dirty and disheveled, is caught in a precarious situation, frozen in embarrassment as she interacts with Su Hun, who offers her spirit herbs. After she enters a cave, Su Hun realizes he has been tricked when they don’t return. He leaves frustrated, having been fooled by their plan to steal herbs. Back at Hun Qi, he encounters an ambush but successfully defends himself. The next day, he learns about bloodstains from the attackers and reflects on recent assaults he has repelled. Jiang Wen Tian returns stronger, boosting Su Hun's confidence. Liu Bai visits, offering credits, but Su Hun prefers friendship. Soon, other members of Hun Qi return, all having gained strength, leading to a significant increase in their overall power. Rumors of impending attacks circulate as factions prepare to strike. After a series of covert battles, Hun Qi's influence grows, leading to unrest among rival factions, who realize they must eliminate Hun Qi.
