Summary

In Yingtan, Gu Yu and Xiao Zhai prepared for alchemy, carrying wooden boxes filled with 34 types of herbs. They hoped for at least one successful pill from their seven attempts. At the train station, Gu Yu was intrigued by a new cold medicine from Emei Pharmaceutical. After purchasing it along with other products, they headed to Dragon Tiger Mountain. Xiao Zhai noted the high prices of the Emei products but acknowledged their potential effectiveness. They discussed the implications of government-backed medicines on public welfare and profit. Upon arrival, they met Zhang Jin Tong, the Tianshi, who had a complex history with the Tianshi Mansion.
