Summary

Mei Lun and Rong Ding Jun take a break during their mission, consuming energy bars and discussing their direction when they hear a distant battle. They report to Gao Hai Dong and head towards the commotion, discovering Zhou Wei Min fighting a mysterious individual in a theatrical costume. The battle showcases immense power, exceeding the bone tempering realm. Rong Ding Jun announces their intent to capture Zhou Wei Min and joins the fight, using various weapons to distract him. Mei Lun observes the battlefield and the aftermath of Zhou Wei Min's attacks on animals. As the battle intensifies, Zhou Wei Min becomes overwhelmed, and Mei Lun lands a powerful strike. However, Zhou Wei Min explodes in a surge of dark red aura, leaving Mei Lun with a corruption mark from an evil god. The mysterious fighter, Shan Shan from the Holy Cult, explains the nature of the corruption and its dangers. She offers to help Mei Lun seal the corruption temporarily, which he agrees to after some hesitation. Shan Shan performs a ritual that creates a seal on Mei Lun's shoulder, lasting three months. Although she invites him to visit the Holy Cult, Mei Lun expresses that he has other matters to attend to before he can go.
