Summary

In the Merit Monument, time moves slowly, allowing the protagonist to work with Hu Ming and his crew, who transport stone tablets for income. While collecting stones, they encounter skeleton thieves. The protagonist, a self-taught stone carver, devises a plan to fend them off by carving a tablet that immobilizes the thieves. After saving the group, Hu Ming decides to escort the protagonist to a city for a stone carving test. Upon arrival, the protagonist is captivated by a stone tablet, leading to astonishment from examiners. They guide him to a testing site where he must pass floors to determine his skill level, with expectations varying among the examiners.
