Summary

Lin Xiao, still in pajamas, meets Shangguan Guan Yan, introduced by Lin Ning, who seeks to have her stay with Lin Xiao due to family issues. Lin Xiao readily agrees, appreciating the company. The next morning, Lin Ning is surprised by the arrival of his large dog, Xiao Hei, who excitedly greets him. Lin Ning realizes Xiao Hei is hungry and offers it food, while his sister, Lin Jing Jing, tries to pet the dog. However, Xiao Hei growls at Zhao Jing Wei, prompting Lin Ning to give her a protective talisman, explaining Xiao Hei's sensitivity to certain auras. After some humorous interactions, Lin Ning takes Xiao Hei out to find a female dog, encountering Shen Qiu Yue, who admires Xiao Hei.
