Summary

Chun Mei suggests Auntie drink wine, but Yue Niang insists on a smaller cup. The courtesans sing songs of longing, prompting Chun Mei to reminisce about Chen Jing Ji. After rewarding the courtesans, she departs, feeling gloomy at home. Zhou Shoubei orders Zhang Sheng and Li An to find Chen Jing Ji. Meanwhile, Chen Jing Ji confronts Yang Da Lang, who mocks him but ultimately gives him money after a drunken acquaintance intervenes. They meet Hou Lin Er, who offers companionship and food, leading them to a tavern for a meal.
