Summary
In Guangyi County, three riders—Song Yan Qing, Xu Yi Tian, and Chen Gui Shuo—arrive at Nanshan Temple, initially mistaken for bandits. They offer gold coins, prompting the monks to welcome them. However, they discover the monks' sinister intentions when they find their food poisoned. After a confrontation, the abbot Yuan Fang reveals his demonic nature. Despite his strength, he struggles against the trio. Ultimately, Song Yan Qing offers Yuan Fang a chance at survival in exchange for loyalty, revealing a token of authority.
