Summary

In East City, Pei Yan Zhi, in a pitiful state, faces her disdainful half-sister Pei Xi, who threatens her regarding their sick mother. Pei Yan Zhi vows to protect her mother at all costs, despite Pei Xi's connections to the powerful Wei San. After Pei Xi leaves in luxury cars, Pei Yan Zhi sobs alone, fearing for her mother's safety.
