Summary

In a tense confrontation, Old Man Zhang is gravely injured but still alive as Qing Ling struggles against tentacles trying to drag her in. Gao Yang, initially hesitant, rushes to help but is caught by a tentacle. He unlocks a new talent, Replication, and attempts to save Qing Ling by copying a powerful ability. With newfound strength, he wields the Tang blade, slicing through the tentacles and injuring Old Man Zhang. Qing Ling, freed, brutally dismembers Zhang's body, but turns on Gao Yang, demanding an explanation for his hidden powers. The chapter ends with tension between them as secrets unfold.
