Summary

After a lengthy wait, Mi Xiao Jing encounters the startled Mu Xiao Yin, who invites him inside but he prefers to stay outside. They head to see Chen Lao Tou, or Immortal Master, despite Mi Xiao Jing's hidden animosity towards the Jianxin Sect. Upon entering a cave, they find it unusually warm due to earth fire, a vital alchemy spot. They reach a grand hall with a massive alchemy furnace, where Elder Chen Shou Yi performs intricate spells amidst intense heat. Mi Xiao Jing, unaffected by the heat, observes the elder's powerful incantations, realizing their complexity. The chapter concludes as a disciple delivers a jade box to the elder, leaving Mi Xiao Jing in awe.
