Summary

Qin Mu, after a half-month study, is approached by Shu Yi Li, who reveals an imperial decree requesting a poem to awaken the Grand General. Despite his initial reluctance, Qin Mu agrees to write more poems. As he prepares to head to Ning City for an examination, he encounters Bai Qi, a Chimei warrior who recognizes him as a talented poet. Bai Qi, eager to serve, kneels before Qin Mu, who is initially wary of accepting him due to his unfamiliarity with the Chimei. However, he acknowledges the need for protection against demons and suggests Bai Qi prove himself in battle first.
