Summary

Chen San San notices a change in Lu Xiao Xiao after their return from Fuxing Road; she seems to have forgotten much of her past, including their Yin-Yang contract. Despite her earlier reactions to memories, she is now confused and only remembers her desire to protect Chen San San. Concerned, he seeks help from Lin Jie, who realizes that Lu Xiao Xiao is under a Soul Control Technique, which has sealed her consciousness. This powerful technique, used on vengeful spirits, could erase her memories and identity, leaving her vulnerable. Lin Jie explains that without the Yin-Yang contract, Lu Xiao Xiao might not have remembered Chen San San at all.
