Summary

Sun Wukong visits Zhen Yuanzi's dojo and helps a sentient ginseng tree name itself the Emerald Golden Paulownia. The tree had expended significant essence to grant sentience to twenty little creatures, which impressed Sun Wukong. Zhen Yuanzi accepts these new disciples, causing surprise among his existing disciples Qingfeng and Mingyue. After the event, they gather for a vegetarian meal, with Xuanzang showing concern about the earlier commotion, while Sun Wukong dismisses it as a minor lightning tribulation.
