Summary

Pei Shi Si, a young hero seeking revenge, is ambushed by Northern Di riders but is saved by his father, Pei Min, the Sword Saint of Tang. As Pei Shi Si is injured, Pei Min decimates the attackers, but the stubborn son refuses to leave, insisting on avenging his friend. Pei Min, however, recognizes the deceptive tactics of Du Yu, a scholar who feigns death. As they prepare to leave, Du Yu flatters Pei Min with poetry, manipulating him despite the Sword Saint's resolve. The battle intensifies as Northern Di barbarians prepare to attack Du Yu. Ultimately, Pei Min is swayed by Du Yu's flattery, creating tension in the unfolding conflict.
