Summary
Princess Dong Yang renounces worldly life to pursue Taoism, paving the way for the Li Tang royal family. She becomes a nun, taking the name "Xuan Hui," and moves to a temple. However, her mentor, Li Chunfeng, is hesitant to accept her due to her attachments to worldly life. Dong Yang's decision to become a nun is seen as a way to avoid trouble and protect herself from the court officials and powerful families. Meanwhile, Li Su, who has feelings for Dong Yang, believes that she has made the right choice by choosing Taoism, which is more flexible and will give her the utmost freedom. Li Su sets a goal to become strong enough to rekindle his relationship with Dong Yang within three years. Dong Yang temporarily returns to the Taiji Palace's Jing Shu Hall, and Li Su is forced to bury his longing deep in his heart.
