Summary

The story unfolds in an inn where a skilled servant strips a wine-loving monk, leaving him with only his underpants and a few personal items, before tossing him out. Surprisingly, the monk reappears shortly after, unchanged and seemingly unaware of his previous ejection. This confounds the inn's patrons, including Yi Tian Hang, who engages the monk in conversation. The monk, Lu Zhi Shen, is revealed to be a character from "Water Margin," known for his unorthodox path to enlightenment. Yi Tian Hang is intrigued by the monk's genuine nature, contrasting it with hypocritical monks. They share a meal, and Yi Tian Hang informs Lu Zhi Shen of the earlier incident, which the monk finds perplexing, as he encountered no doppelgänger outside.
