Summary

Guang Ren, respecting his previous Master Fang, decided not to harm Xiang Bei, likening the situation to his own past experiences with Wu Ren Di. He urged the old monk Shang Shan to maintain his precepts and leave Xiang Bei's fate to chance. Despite Guang Ren's guilt, he manipulated the monk's conscience, convincing him not to punish Xiang Bei, who was gravely injured. As they descended the mountain, they encountered Zhang Mao Cai, who claimed to have scouted the path. Upon reaching the Eye of Sighs, they learned it could unpredictably close and reopen, with Zhang Mao Cai sharing his dubious luck. The old monk’s focus remained on the Shura Bone, while Guang Ren and Huo Shan discussed their return strategy. Tensions remained as Guang Ren sought to distance himself from Zhang Mao Cai, questioning his luck and intentions.
