Summary

On a cold Monday, Jin Xiao Chai displays her formidable presence in a restaurant, scaring off patrons after injuring a man. She is seeking news about Shi Mu but feels restless. The Sect Master of the Heavenly Demon Sect, Si Tu Hao, unexpectedly appears and offers to help her improve her cultivation and find Shi Mu, who is believed to be in the ancient country of Xixia. Jin Xiao Chai hesitates but eventually agrees to return with him. Meanwhile, Shi Mu and Hou Sai Lei have been traveling in Xixia for over a month, observing the desolate state of the land due to past conflicts. They take a break where Shi Mu feeds Cai Er, his companion, Spirit Stones. After a bout of discomfort from consuming a middle-grade Spirit Stone, Cai Er falls asleep. The two continue their journey towards Pia City, where they plan to gather supplies and information.
