Chapter 265: "The White Boy's Night Raid on Jun Tai City". [267]
Summary
After the Goyu Tribe's lord led his troops to the Xiahou Clan's camp, the need for supplies grew, prompting the Xiahou Clan to send Cai Yao Xian Weng to report back to Jun Tai City. To ensure safety, the Goyu lord suggested Bai Wa deliver the message instead. Bai Wa, confident in his abilities, set off alone for Jun Tai City, avoiding Guandou sentries and climbing the city walls. Upon arrival, he reported to Qian Zong and the Goyu Clan's defense about the reinforcements and the challenges posed by bandits joining the Guandou army. The Goyu Clan's defense insisted on reporting to Tian Guan Da Zhong Zai Xia Qi immediately, despite the late hour. Xia Qi welcomed the news of reinforcements but was concerned about the enemy's equal strength and the presence of the notorious Demon King among them. He decided to consult with the court's elders before making any strategic decisions. The next day, Dayu gathered the elders and grand tutor to discuss the precarious situation, emphasizing the need to strategize for an uncertain battle ahead.Full content
