Summary

Peter and Deep Sea escape from the Mermaid's lair, discovering a mysterious submarine. Peter uses celestial energy and lightning to drive back Mermaids, saving Meila who calls him "Father" before fainting. Sea King Arthur proposes destroying the Mermaid lair through a volcanic eruption. Peter triggers the explosion while Arthur rescues human-containing cocoons. The entire trench collapses, burying the Mermaids. Later, Mera awakens and thanks Peter for saving her, revealing her changing perspective about land dwellers and her desire to fight against her father's beliefs.
