Summary

Bai Xiao Chun discovers a golden leaf and a turtle shell but feels frustrated and deceived as he searches for the promised eternal and indestructible secret. After a fruitless investigation, he returns to the Xue Zi Hall, where he learns from three fellow cultivators about a military oath to slay him, as he is seen as a threat. Despite his reluctance, he is pressured to sign the oath. After they leave, Bai Xiao Chun prepares to escape the Blood Stream Sect, reflecting on his mixed feelings about it. As he departs, he witnesses a rebellion of demons from the nameless peak against the sect, led by one he had previously nurtured. Alarmed, he hurriedly flees, fearing the repercussions of the uprising.
